Breakfast/ Light and Form

A still life that explores the relationships of light, weight and matter. The simple objects are arranged in a balanced composition, in which the cup, plate and apple create a dialogue of volumes and boundaries. The warm tones create transparency and movement, in contrast to the cold ones of the objects, creating a feeling of static matter.
