Explosion
This expressive acrylic on canvas layers gestural marks, drips, and translucent passages into a vivid abstract-figurative composition. Elusive human forms emerge and recede within a flowing field of turquoise, violet, green, and coral, creating a work that feels both spontaneous and psychologically charged.

Keren Azar
Keren Jasmin Azar 49 years old, from Afula, Israel. I am an artist, writer, consciousness coach, and educator. Art arises from within meโfrom an inner pulse of emotion, memory, and longing.ย For many years, I was afraid to express myself and lived with a deep sense of disconnection. Fifteen years ago, after my younger brother was killed during his military service, I experienced a profound inner message that felt like a calling from him: that I carry the soul of an artist, and that I must write and paint. From that moment, I began creating without knowing what would emerge on the page. I simply wrote and painted, allowing deep inner layers that had long waited to be born to reveal themselves. Since then, I have been creating through colors and words. My debut book, "To Your World," tells the story of my journey into the world of art and creativity. I paint with my fingers, in direct contact with the paint, without mediation. Through this intimate encounter with the material, I seek to understand who I am, to explore my roots, and to allow the soul to tell its stories through color, words, and movement. Each painting is accompanied by a poetic text that emerges from within me, giving language to the sensory and emotional experience from which the artwork was born. For me, art is a process of listening, searching, and discovering.ย I create barefoot, fully present, touching the material and uncovering deep layers of myself. ย I work in mixed media, choosing vivid colors that demand presence, revealing emotional depth and giving voice to what has long remained hidden. My work embodies primal sensations: water, sky, longing, the womb, hope, and a deep desire for connection and simplicity. I create in order to discover. To move closer to my inner self. Through my work, I invite viewers to encounter their own inner world through mine. Each painting is a gatewayโto the heart, and to the light.
