Memory traces

The work is created in lightweight eco-concrete using a unique technique developed by the artist. This wall sculpture combines a rounded organic form with a dense system of linear incisions that spread across the surface like a mysterious coded script or encrypted markings embedded within the material over time. The repeated lines evoke traces of memory, layers of accumulated knowledge, and experiences preserved beneath the visible surface. The work explores how time, place, and human presence leave their imprint on matter. Rather than conveying a specific narrative, the engraved markings invite personal interpretation — like deciphering a distant memory, a hidden map, or evidence of processes unfolding across time. The dialogue between raw materiality and precise linear language creates a quiet yet powerful presence that integrates naturally into contemporary, minimalist, and architectural interiors. Its restrained palette and rich texture allow it to serve as a distinctive focal point within residential spaces, hospitality environments, and private collections.

I create sculptural wall reliefs from eco-friendly concrete, developing unique personal techniques that allow me to craft lightweight pieces with a powerful material and sculptural presence. The pieces are built through layers, grooves, cracks, and delicate interventions of color and gold. I am drawn to surfaces that bear the marks of time, weathering, and movement, and to the beauty that emerges from imperfection, exposure, and the traces left within the material. My creative process is rooted in an ongoing exploration of depth, rhythm, and light within a material traditionally perceived as heavy and rigid. The minimalist color palette—mineral whites, grays, sand tones, and gold—allows light and shadow to become an integral part of the artwork, shifting dynamically throughout the day. I view these works as spaces for slow, quiet contemplation, bridging the connection between material, time, and presence.
