Quiet Table Light
A moody oil portrait on paper, this intimate composition balances warm lamplight with deep shadow to create a contemplative interior scene. Loose yet deliberate brushwork gives the face a living presence, while the bowl and background details add narrative warmth and painterly depth.

Eithan Tamayo
Eitan Tamayo is a 19-year-old artist who was born into the world of art through his motherโan architect from Peruโand his grandfather, who used to sketch the desert landscapes of South America in his notebook. He had been drawing all his life while contending with severe attention and concentration issues, these manifest in the addition of black etchings over the paint, lending his portraits a unique, expressive character. The portraits themselves focus on everyday human moments and the emotional complexity inherent within them. He draws inspiration from the world of cinema and the dramatic facial expressions of Old Hollywood actors. Only recently did he begin experimenting with oil paints, and he instantly fell in love with the medium; he maintains that the fluidity of the colors complements his wild style and rapid painting pace.
