This painting captures a tranquil, almost pastoral scene of a city reflecting on calm water. The artist uses a palette knife to create a rich texture, highlighting the warm sunset tones of the buildings and their shimmering reflection. The light, gentle sky beautifully contrasts with the structured horizon line, while the interplay of light and shadow gives the work depth and a soft quality.

Vered Mark
My name is Vered Mark, a painter living and creating in Kibbutz Kabri in the Western Galilee. Since childhood, I have been drawn to colors and creativity, a passion that led me to study Art Education at Oranim College, where I explored drawing, photography, and acrylic painting. Alongside raising my family and building a career as an independent graphic designer, art has always been an inseparable part of my life.In recent years, I have returned with full passion to painting, focusing mainly on oil paints and unique palette knife techniques. My inspiration comes primarily from nature, yet I also enjoy exploring portraits, still life, and expressive abstract works. For me, each creation is a personal journey, where the process is as meaningful as the outcome - a path of exploration that allows me to evolve and rediscover the power of color and texture each time anew.
