The artwork is part of a series called “The Game,” based on classic playing cards, with each card representing a different animal. The series explores the idea that we are born into a predetermined natural order, carrying inherent strengths, limitations, and innate potential. From this starting point, we are cast into the arena of life’s game. The Number 10 card, depicted as a bear, embodies a presence that cannot be ignored. He is steady, quiet, and tough, self-contained, seeking neither leadership nor validation. Yet when his boundaries are crossed or he is challenged, a sharp, powerful, and uncompromising force is revealed
