Where Silence Begins
This painting was inspired by my love for quiet places in nature — especially near water. I often imagine landscapes not just as scenery, but as emotional spaces. This one came from a feeling of longing for stillness, for that gentle breath of peace you find between mountains and reflections. I chose acrylics because they allow me to work in layers — to build softness, depth, and quiet light. I’m always drawn to water and wide-open landscapes because they hold a kind of quiet emotion, like a whispered memory. My style is gentle and a little dreamlike, because that’s how I see the world when I paint — not just with my eyes, but with my heart. I hope viewers will feel calm. That they will pause, breathe, and feel as though they’ve stepped into a hidden place — somewhere soft, untouched, and peaceful. Maybe it will remind them of something they’ve forgotten, or something they’ve always longed for.

Eva Soelle
Eva Soelle is a sculptor and painter based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her work radiates warmth, wonder, and quiet emotion. She spends her days working with children on the autism spectrum, designing games and tools that brighten their world. In the quiet moments between, she creates tiny whimsical worlds — handcrafted clay houses filled with peace, color, and gentle love. Eva also paints soft, atmospheric scenes inspired by nature — especially water in all its forms: seas, rivers, lakes, and rain. Her paintings offer calm spaces for stillness and reflection, each one a quiet return to something forgotten yet deeply felt. She shares her process and finished pieces through her project Creative ILand on social media — her own island of creativity, color, and kindness. “My art is about peace. Beauty in its purest form. A soft place to land.”
