Work of Memories This work explores memory and the fear of forgetting. In Hebrew, the title also carries a double meaning: working with memories and the act of remembering. Who among us has not formed an attachment to something from the past? Memories of events, cherished objects, handwritten notes, and above all, the people we love and the words they left behind. Out of the fear of forgetting comes the desire to keep these memories close to the heart—to preserve, protect, embrace, wrap, bind, and hold on to them, again and again. Yet even then, we continue to live with the quiet fear that our memories may fade or be lost. The relief incorporates the form of traditional envelopes with their characteristic triangular flaps, evoking handwritten letters, personal messages, and memories carefully kept over time. In this work, memories appear as if they have been cast in concrete—frozen in time, preserved, and held against the passage of time. Materials: Ecological concrete and gold pigment..

I create sculptural wall reliefs from eco-friendly concrete, developing unique personal techniques that allow me to craft lightweight pieces with a powerful material and sculptural presence. The pieces are built through layers, grooves, cracks, and delicate interventions of color and gold. I am drawn to surfaces that bear the marks of time, weathering, and movement, and to the beauty that emerges from imperfection, exposure, and the traces left within the material. My creative process is rooted in an ongoing exploration of depth, rhythm, and light within a material traditionally perceived as heavy and rigid. The minimalist color palette—mineral whites, grays, sand tones, and gold—allows light and shadow to become an integral part of the artwork, shifting dynamically throughout the day. I view these works as spaces for slow, quiet contemplation, bridging the connection between material, time, and presence.
