הציור הזה קולט רגע של שחרור, עף, וחיבור עם האלמנטים הטבעיים. אישה צעירה נסקה בין העננים, מוקפת בעדר של ציפורים שחורות המסמלות שינוי, כוח פנימי, ומעבר לשלב חדש. האור החודר דרך העננים יוצר תחושה של אנרגיה מיסטית ותקווה, מדגיש את הניגוד בין חושך לאור. היצירה נוצרה בעבודת טמפרה ושמן על קנבס על לוח. הטכניקה הרב-שכבתית מוסיפה עומק לקומפוזיציה, ומדגישה את תנועת העננים, את מעוף הציפורים, ואת המשחק של האור.
