Art for me is a way of life – a language through which I observe, explore and process the world around me. I was born in St. Petersburg, a city that has been a source of inspiration for me from a young age – in culture, aesthetics and the urban landscape. I began my path as a child in the studio of a local artist, and painting has accompanied me ever since. Upon my immigration to Israel, I continued to study and deepen the language of painting – through private teachers and courses at Bezalel. Today, I live and create in Ramat Gan, and run an independent painting studio where I teach adults. Teaching nourishes my personal creation and deepens my connection to material, color and human encounter. I paint in a variety of media – oil, acrylic, pastel and drawing – but watercolors are the material that feels most accurate to me. I love their ability to contain both delicacy and boldness, and the space they open up to light, transparency and imagination.
