In Crossing Gazes, a dramatic geometric portrait emerges where bold colors and wide eyes create a direct dialogue with the viewer. The fragmented face, built from colorful shapes, resembles windows into different layers of consciousness. It is a search for identity through a penetrating gaze, revealing the tension between fragile inner worlds and a daring outward appearance.

Diana Shariev

My name is Diana Shariev, a self-taught artist and graphic designer. I paint in an abstract cubist/pop art style. I am very influenced by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Wassily Kandinsky, while also developing my own techniques. In my art I also incorporate Modlink Fast, most of my works are acrylic on canvas or board. I added an epoxy coating to the works, which I think gives a sense of depth and three-dimensionality. I continue to experiment with different materials and thus develop my own language.
