Liquid Gold
Sunlight fractures across the surface of the sea, turning constant motion into a field of shimmering gold. Captured on expired film, the image emphasizes the fragility of light and the way nature creates fleeting abstractions through continuous movement. This work is part of a two-image series titled “Fragments of Light”, photographed in the sea of Jaffa. The series explores the water’s surface as a shifting space of light and time, where the instability, grain, and color shifts of expired film introduce a layer of memory, impermanence, and material aging.
