Morning
A moment when heavy stone becomes weightless. The familiar outlines of the Santa Maria della Salute domes are captured in their morning awakening, where the boundaries between reality and dreams blur. The lower part of the work is intentionally left open, with fluid watercolor washes creating the effect of lifting off the ground. It is an invitation to leave the mundane behind and rise above the city, into the pure space of morning light and freedom. The artwork is filled with air and a spring-like sense of anticipation. Teaches drawing, inspired by Ronald Searle and the animation of Kovalev & Tatarsky, and also works as a shiatsu therapist.
