The Gaze That Won’t Let Go
The artwork portrays a mysterious figure with piercing eyes, caught between a mask and a bare face. The black hat and colorful blocks symbolize the weight of thoughts and memories built within the mind, while the dripping black lines suggest inner cracks and emotions leaking out. The fiery red background emphasizes the dramatic tension between the inner and the outer world, between silence and intense inner turmoil.

Diana Shariev
My name is Diana Shariev, a self-taught artist and graphic designer. I paint in an abstract cubist/pop art style. I am very influenced by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Wassily Kandinsky, while also developing my own techniques. In my art I also incorporate Modlink Fast, most of my works are acrylic on canvas or board. I added an epoxy coating to the works, which I think gives a sense of depth and three-dimensionality. I continue to experiment with different materials and thus develop my own language.
