Yad Lebanim - Urban Oasis
the painting stages a dialogue between modernity and nature. The building represents progress and abstraction; the palm tree embodies resilience, growth, and the persistence of the organic within urban space. Neither element overwhelms the other. Instead, their coexistence creates a visual tension—an equilibrium where engineered geometry and natural form stand in deliberate juxtaposition.

My work reflects paradoxes of everyday life. What is not always apparent or clearly visible is lurking beneath the surface. I focus on scenes that are familiar and significant to me that reflect internal tensions in a seemingly tranquil landscape. I alternate between painting my environment in the United States and of Israel, using brushstroke and color to evoke a mood or feeling enveloping me in each setting.
